NIMS Signed a Comprehensive Collaborative Agreement with Institute of Materials Science, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology

(December 1st, 2011) NIMS concluded a Comprehensive Collaborative Agreement (a sister institute agreement) with Institute of Materials Science, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IMS-VAST) in Vietnam.
IMS-VAST was established in 1993 by the Vietnamese government.
As a core research institution in the field of materials science in Vietnam, IMS-VAST is carrying out 10 extensive R&D activities ranging from nanotechnology to mineral processing with more than 300 permanent staffs including 25 professors and 75 Ph.D.s at 26 laboratories in 5 divisions.
This agreement will not only reinforce the existing collaborations between IMS-VAST and NIMS but also definitely lead to more extensive collaboration and exchange of researchers.
