New South Wales is the state located in southeast of the Australian Continent and the first settlement from England, the most populated (7.2 million; 4.5 million in Sydney) and industrialized in the country. It is intended that the Government would be the link between prominent academic institutions in NSW and NIMS based on this agreement. Faculty members attending the ceremony expressed strong interest in NIMS.

This agreement will not only reinforce the existing collaboration with some universities but also envisage new and broader cooperation with many academic institutions in NSW.
