A research team consisting of members from Nagoya University, Chiba University, NIMS, and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) demonstrated that organic molecules can be arranged perfectly in one dimension by using a special substrate.
Abstract
The research team demonstrated that it is possible to arrange organic molecules perfectly in one dimension by using a special substrate. This successful development of a system for high efficiency transmission of charge and electronic spin in organic molecules will accelerate the development of future organic semiconductor electronic and spintronic devices.
